GET INVOLVED Students at Ingleside State School are invited to get involved in a creative-filled, Art meets Science mission. As budding Ornithologists students will be guided by local artists to observe, draw and paint the native birds of the Hinterland. Register your child now. Limited numbers.

About the event
Artists from Hand Bent Banana and Hands On Art will guide children through multiple mini art and science projects, over 6 weeks every Thursday afternoon 2.30 to 3.30pm at Ingleside State School.
Students will get to share their observations and create a “flock of birds” artwork to adorn the wall as part of the outdoor learning room at Ingleside State School.
Activities will include nature play, bird tracking, observational drawing, painting, collaging and photography.
Art materials will be supplied.

The Birds of South East Qld project is funded by a grant from RADF and specially design for students aged 8 to 14 years.
