As a place-based centre immersed in the natural wilderness of the Gold Coast Hinterland we are committed to fostering critically engaged creative practice.
Hand Bent Banana operates in the old, repurposed banana packing shed on Talweg. Light-filled creative worklabs, gallery, outdoor spaces and support for artists to research, develop and present new work connected to natural green views, fresh air and tranquility are offered.
Creative pursuits in the fields of music composition/sound art, the visual arts, sculpture, installation, new media, craft, creative writing, architecture and landscape/garden/ecological design are welcome.

As an emerging Gold Coast visual artist I aim to sustain a flourishing professional practice and contribute my skills and vision to a vibrant local arts and cultural sector.
I work with a poetic and intuitive confidence, discovering purpose through creating universal images that nurture a sense of calm and wellbeing.
I was born in Italy and Studied at the San Giacomo Art Academy in Rome. I graduated from Art History at the University of Rome. I’m now based on the southern Gold Coast where I practice my painting and sculpture.
